UP Schools will remain close till March 31 up to Class 8

Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, all schools will remain close from March 24 to March 31 in Uttar Pradesh. 
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, all the educational institutions where exams are not underway will remain close from March 24 to 31. 

This decision was taken in the high-level meeting of the Chief Minister with officials to battle against Covid-19. 

As the cases of Covid-19 are increasing in the country. Thus, several state governments have announced the closure of schools and colleges. 
According to the Union Health Ministry, at the moment, there are 3,036 active coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh. 8,759 people have lost their lives due to the virus in the state. 

5,95,743 people have recovered from the coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh.
