Uttar Pradesh Schools to reopen Primary Classes from September 1

Uttar Pradesh Schools will be re-opening Primary classes from September 1, 2021. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department recently issued orders for Uttar Pradesh schools to reopen Primary classes. Physical classes for Classes 1 to 5 will resume from September 1. Further, schools will re-open for Classes 6 to 8 from August 23, 2021.

 

Schools in Uttar Pradesh have already resumed from August 16 for classes 9 to 12. Physical classes are being conducted with 50% capacity.  However, schools will be resuming only with proper Covid-19 guidelines. UP schools will be resuming for students after seventeen months.

 

The government decided to re-open schools after a meeting when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to prepare opening schools. Schools will re-open only with strict Covid-19 guidelines such as maintaining social distancing, using hand sanitizers, using face masks.

 

Meanwhile, schools for classes 9 to 12 are being conducted in two shifts with strict Covid-19 protocols. Further, there has also been constant monitoring of the situation by government officials. The government also constructed to do sanitization of classes after each shift. Several states have resumed physical classes with the drop in Covid-19 positivity rate.
