These are offered to the meritorious students on the basis of their academic merit, and financial need.

• Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS (Minorities) is for the students who scored at least 50% in class 12 or graduation with annual family income less than 2.50 lacs, belonging to minority communities, can avail course fee and maintenance allowance.

• Under the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship students of class 8 or 9 who have obtained at least 55% in the examination can avail financial assistance of rupees 12000 per annum.

• Under the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students, the students who have scored above 80% in class 12 can avail 10,000 to 20,000 per annum.

• Under the AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls, girl students studying in the first year of technical courses can avail up to rupees 50,000 rupees per annum.

• Under the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal students of class 11 onwards with annual family income less than 1.25 lakhs can avail up to rupees 60,000 rupees per annum.
