The Joint Admission Board (JAB) will be discussing about increasing the number of attempts allowed for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced. However, the discussion will be for the year 2021 attempt, informed the IIT-Delhi director V. Ramgopal Rao.

In a tweet, the director wrote, “One needs to understand the decision-making process in a government system. For increasing the number of attempts as a special case for JEE 2021, no one will decide it right now. This matter will be taken up at an appropriate time after JEE Advanced 2020 is conducted.”
“Please trust the process and the people involved. Please focus on your studies and your preparations for the 2020 exams”, said Rao.

Rao wrote to his social media platform- the Ministry is concerned about everyone in this situation and wants to help in the best possible way. They have to consider a lot of facts and figures before reaching a point. All the decisions will be taken in the best interest of the country.
