After CM Kejriwal's recent hint at reopening schools in the state soon, schools in Delhi are finally gearing up for a reopening on February 5. "Children want to go back to schools and colleges but parents & teachers are worried. Since vaccines are here, we hope we will be able to open schools soon," the CM had tweeted a few days back and looks like the plan's already in action.

Classes for the students of standards 10 and 12 had already started on January 18 to help the students prepare for their upcoming board exams. Also, the Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced earlier today that classes for students of standards 9 and 11 are resuming on February 5.

The students are finally resuming classes after around 11 months since the schools were initially shut down due to the pandemic. However, the government has strongly stressed that all safety protocols will be necessarily followed in these schools to ensure complete safety.
