Online classes have prevented students from educational loss. But what about those who lack the means to attend these classes? An area called Yamuna Khadar constitutes five thousand farmer families who are affected by annual floods. Covid-19 has worsened their situation.
Satyendra Singh Shakya came as a source of rescue for the students in this place. He started open-air classes for 9th std students under the Barapullah flyover and 10th std, in a thatched hut. The students say that this initiative saved them from the fear of approaching board exams.
