Source: NDTV Education

A group of parents was protesting near Arvind Kejriwal’s (Delhi Chief Minister) residence on Saturday, demanding to reopen the schools for Class 1 to 8 students. The protesting parents, led by the Delhi State Public Schools’ Management Association, said that since the Classes, Anganwadis for Class 9 to 12 have resumed. The students of Class 1 to 8 should also be allowed to go back to school.

R C Jain, the Chairman of the Delhi State Public Schools Management Association, said that the government should give parents the option of sending their children to school.  And along with this, continue the Online Classes.

Mr. Jain told PTI that the government should issue an SOP. So, those who want their children to attend offline classes can follow some guidelines. And the rest parents can let their children continue with the online Classes.

He further added that over a year away from school, children got frustrated. And parents are also finding it difficult to go to their work. And simultaneously take care of their child’s education. And the phased reopening of the education system has begun in the national capital.
