Online Classes Allowed For Pre-Primary To Class 5

While parents poured in support for online classes and campaigned against the ban on the same, the primary and secondary education department of Karnataka has requested the HC to continue online education with a schedule for online classes for pre-primary to class X.

According to the drawn-out schedule, the students will have 30 minutes of online class a day in a week, in the presence of parents. Students of classes 1 to 5, there can be two sessions of 30-45 minutes on alternate days. Whereas, classes 6 to 8 are allowed to have 2 online sessions of 30-45 minutes five days a week.

Students of classes 9 and 10 can have 4 live sessions of 30-45 minutes five days of the week. No extra fees should be charged.
