NEP will teach children self-reliance: Ramesh Pokhriyal

In his recent address at the India Education Summit, the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has mentioned that NEP will teach children self-reliance at a young age. NEP will enable children to become atmanirbhar, Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal said.

As a part of his inaugural address at the IEC, Ramesh Pokhriyal went on to highlight the importance of NEP in imparting self-reliance to children. In his words, “By connecting students with the internships, vocational training as a student reaches class 6, we will imbibe atmanirbharta (self-reliance) in a student. By the time these students will complete school education, they will be warriors who can take on any task”. He also mentioned about the soon-to-be-introduced AI technology at the school level.

The India education summit, inaugurated today, will be a three-day event and conclude on February 11.
