Maharashtra Board Examinations For Class X And XII Dates Announced

Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaekwad on Thursday declared the dates for this year’s Class X, Class XII and state board examinations. Written exams for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) will be conducted between 23rd April 2021 and 29th May 2021.

The exams will be conducted in compliance with the Covid 19 norms, said Gaekwad.

Results for the SSC exams are expected to be announced in the last week of August, while results of the HSC exams are likely to be announced in the last week of July.

Schools in Maharashtra reopened on January 4 with the resumption of only Classes IX to XII. So far, 95% of schools have reopened in the state with over 38% of students in classrooms.

With the covid situation last year, conducting exams was proving to be a challenging task for schools and other educational institutions. This year with dwindling covid cases in India, educational institutions are hoping to be successful in conducting exams across the country.
