As the talks about reopening of schools have been doing rounds, a study has come up which might put a halt to them. It says about how kids younger than five have higher levels of coronavirus genetic particles in their nose as compared to adults. This makes them more likely in spreading the virus.

In the study, the scientists wrote, “Our analyses suggest children younger than five years with mild to moderate COVID-19 have high amounts of the SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in their nasopharynx compared with older children and adults.”

Such issues raise concerns regarding the transmission of the virus in the atmosphere a child has in the schools.
