How to know that your child is lying to you?

Here are some signs that you will notice when your child lies to you. 

1. Shuttering- If your child is shuttering between a conversation with you. Then your child is lying. And the amount of doubt in them causes the shutter. 
2. When there is a lack of or intense eye-contact- When the children are lying. Then they indulge in unusual eye contact. The younger children show a lack of eye contact. On the other hand, the grown-up children are more confident in looking into their parent’s eyes.  
3. Repetition- Children repeat things when they lie to their parents. 
4. Changes in the tone- When children lie, there is a change in the child’s voice. It gets higher than their usual voice.  
5. Rambling- If your child is talking non-stop. And defending himself/herself in between a conversation. Then your child may be lying. But this can not be the case when your child is naturally talkative. 
6. Defensive- When your child is lying, he/she may get highly defensive. And they can also make an unusual gesture.
