The Haryana government has decided to take up a less-explored approach by connecting the government and private schools in the state. This connection of the government and private schools will be done through a Twinning Programme that will enable the students to learn from each other.
Under this Twinning Programme, the government schools in Haryana will be furnished with audio-visual aids for enhancing the teaching-learning process. Further, the government schools will also be partnered with private schools. These partnered private schools will be tasked with organizing shared teaching-learning resources.
The decision to connect the government schools and private schools in Haryana was announced in the Haryana State Assembly while presenting the budget estimates for the financial year 2022-23. Talking about the same, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar remarked that the Twinning Programme will help in bringing society together as it will enable shared learning across institutes in the state.
