Haryana Government has permitted the reopening of schools in a phased manner. Schools were closed shut and early summer vacations were announced. The schools are now open in Haryana for students of classes 9 to 12. However, the private schools in Gurgaon and Faridabad are careful and many have delayed reopening for now.
Schools are open in Gurgaon now with strict COVID-19 protocols. According to visuals obtained from ANI, students in government model secondary schools, have been instructed by their teachers about COVID-19 protocols. The schools are maintaining suitable social distancing and implementing the required COVID-19 guidelines.
Attendance is not compulsory and schools have been advised to follow strict social distancing procedures. All the SOPs and COVID19 appropriate behavior would be ensured in the schools. While most of the schools have welcomed the decision, not many private schools have applied it.
For most of the private top schools in Gurgaon as well as Faridabad, the authorities have shared the letter of consent and are awaiting response form parents for an ‘eventual reopening’ of offline classes. The standard procedure – online classes for the time being.
