The Chief Minister of Telangana said on Wednesday, March 17, that the state government is analyzing the Covid situation. And they will decide in the next two-three months about the schools. On February 1, the classes in the offline mode were resumed for the students of Class 9-12 and the college students.

But the government would decide on schools as a large number of Coronavirus cases are getting reported in the state. They will decide after analyzing the situation whether they should keep schools open or go for online classes again. And the government is yet to decide on the opening of primary and secondary schools.

Mr. Rao made a statement in the Assembly on Wednesday and said, Covid cases have started rising again. Therefore, they cannot let their children suffer. So, they have to follow some policies regarding this issue. They are concerned as a large number of cases are being reported in the schools. And it is a matter of concern for them when the cases occur in school hostels. And the children are staying together.

The Chief Minister further added that the second wave of Corona has not occurred in the country. But the virus is spreading in neighboring Maharashtra. And all efforts are being made by the state health department to prevent the spread of the virus.
