Delhi Nursery Admissions: March 20 is the date for the First Merit List

The first merit lists for Delhi Nursery admissions to be out on March 20 by the schools. The parents who are seeking admission for their children in class Nursery, KG, and Class 1 should check the official websites of the school to which they have applied for their child's admissions. And for the updates of the Nursery admission merit lists. 

The first merit list will include the names of all students selected for admission to Nursery, KG, and Class 1 along with the points each child got for his/her selection. Each child is scored out of 100 based on admission criteria that include their place of residence, siblings studying in school, and parents being the alumni of the same school or not. 

Following the first merit list, the parents or guardians can submit the required documents and participate in the verification process conducted individually in each Delhi school. And in the end, they have to submit an admission fee to complete the process. 

Along with the first list, the schools also release a waiting list of the children who will be considered for admission in case of any vacancies after the first round. 

The admission process will follow up with the second merit list to be out on March 25. And then the resolution of queries posted by the parents. The nursery admission will be closed by March 31. 

Also, the nursery admission takes place for 1700 schools in November, but due to Covid, the admission process got delayed.
