Schools to reopen in Delhi

The Delhi Government has decided to reopen schools in the national capital of India, after 9 months of COVID 19. This decision of the government will come into effect from January 18, 2021, for students of classes 10 and 12. The schools will reopen with several COVID 19 guidelines in place for the safety of the students.

 

In order to conduct activities pertaining to pre-board preparation and practical work the Government/ Government aided and unaided schools may call only the students of classes 10 and 12 to school from January 18, 2021. The child should be called to school only with the consent of the parents,” reads the statement released by the government of Delhi.

 

The government has also instructed schools to maintain a record of the student coming to school. However, it is completely up to the parents whether they want to send the children to school or not.

The online mode of teaching will still continue.
