Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal expressed hope that the schools will be able to reopen properly soon after the arrival of the Covid-19 vaccine while interacting with principals and management authorities of public schools.

"Students want to go back to school and colleges but parents and teachers are worried. Since the vaccine is here there is hope that school will reopen soon", said Kejriwal.

"Nursery admissions will start soon". Said Kejriwal.

The Delhi government reopened schools for the class 10 and 12 from January 18 because of the board exams. Schools were closed from March 2020 due to the pandemic. However, schools are functioning through the virtual model for the rest of the classes.

"We have given prime importance to the education sector. Our government gave the highest allocation of funds to the education sector", in March 2020. Said Kejriwal.

Later, principals, teachers, and all faculty members of several schools thanked CM Arvind Kejriwal for his efforts for the education sector in the capital.
