Around 4872 aspirants have applied for admission to DU on the first day of admission under the third cutoff list. About 2410 applications have been approved while 3034 candidates have paid for admission. The admission under the third cut-off list will be closed on October 30.
Most of the courses on the 3rd list have been already closed. This year the cutoff has touched 100% because a high number of students scored 90+ marks in board exams. Five cut-off lists are expected this year. The 4th cut-off list is expected to release on October 31.

Cut off marks are calculated by calculating the best of four subjects marks scored in class 12th, for some subject there may be certain mandatory subjects in the list of best of four. Due to the pandemic, the entire counseling process is online.
