NCERT books or syllabus has fewer contents on the northeast region, its culture and people. Since this, Students and teachers have bombarded the social media with their appeal to include a chapter.
National Council of Educational Research and Training, NCERT books or curriculum has fewer contents on the northeast region. Taking this into reflection, many students have started a Twitter campaign demanding a required chapter in the NCERT syllabus.According to the people who are protesting, the history of the northeast and its people has disappeared. The campaign aimed to push the National Council of Educational Research and Training to include a complete chapter on the Northeast in NCERT Books. More than 25 North East students’ organizations lent their support to the campaign.
