Delhi govt cancels Class 9, Class 11 exams, details released on how schools can declare results

The Delhi government has cancelled the exams of Classes 9 and 11, announced Education Minister Manish Sisodia. These exams had been suspended on April 12 and Sisodia had told students on April 15 that the Class 9 and Class 11 exams were cancelled."The class 9 and 11 exams in government schools have been cancelled. Whatever standards the board decides for appraisal of class 10 students, we will adopt the same for class 9 and 11 too," Sisodia had said back then.The state government on Thursday declared details on how the schools can set up the results for the two classes.

If schools have conducted mid-term and annual exams already
The private schools which had conducted their mid-term and annual exams can now declare the results of their Class 9 and Class 11 students on the same basis.

Any school in which only mid-term examinations were held and annual examinations could not be conducted -- whether it is a government school or a private school -- will declare the Class 9 and Class 11 on the basis of their mid-term examination.
