15 inspiring school students of India received the CSIR Innovation Award, 2020

The Awards were announced virtually on Saturday.

1. Karan S Soin: Designed app for easy access to microfinance in for the rural masses.

2. Dhruvi Gupta: Designed the herbal power tooth using a butter paper through herbal formulation.

3 & 4. A Srija and K Hari Krishna: Made eco-friendly biodegradable pots with groundnut shells. 

5. Neha Bhat: Made an efficient multi-purpose battery with automatic spraying machine.

6. Vibha K Bhat: Designed a fuel-saving cooking vessel.

7. P Harshitha: Prepared a magic pot for removing fluoride from drinking water.

8, 9 & 10. Yash Petkar, Sanchi Hisariya and Saniya Shakil: Designed an automatic waste disposal system for the train.

11. Archit Rahul Patil: Designed a device to estimate the obstetric blood loss accurately in real-time and help save maternal life.

12 & 13. Abhijeet Kumar and Arpit Kumar: Made a low-cost water filter for removing Arsenic from water.

14. Aryan Gulati: Designed an app to detect COVID-19 and other lung diseases.

15. Revathy V Manikandan: Designed a Free-Air Temperature increase system (FATI system) to increase canopy temperature artificially.
