Established in 1962, the school was founded with the vision of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and V.K. Krishna Menon to prepare students for the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. The school combines strong academics with military training and character development. The school recently began admitting girl cadets, shaping students into capable future officers and responsible citizens.
Established in 2014, it is the 25th Sainik School in India and the second in Andhra Pradesh. Affiliated with CBSE and residential, it admits students in Classes VI and IX, focusing on developing leaders under the motto "Learn to Lead." With strong parental involvement and guidance from the Ministry of Defence, the school prepares students with diverse backgrounds to become confident citizens.
