List of Sainik Schools in South India 2026-27

Sainik Schools in South India are part of a nationwide network of government-run, fully residential schools managed by the Ministry of Defence's Sainik Schools Society. These schools follow the CBSE curriculum with an emphasis on academics, physical fitness, leadership development, and character building to prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy and other defense services. Admissions are through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) primarily for classes 6 and 9.
