List of Sainik Schools in Patna 2026-27

Patna does not have a government-operated official Sainik School. However, Bihar has two government Sainik Schools located in Nalanda and Gopalganj districts. These schools are managed by the Ministry of Defence's Sainik Schools Society and offer fully residential education aimed at preparing boys and girls for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other defense services. Both schools follow the CBSE curriculum and emphasize academic excellence, physical training, leadership, and character building. Students in Patna aspiring for Sainik School admission usually apply for these two schools through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE).
