List of Sainik Schools for Girls in Andhra Pradesh 2026-27

Andhra Pradesh has two traditional Sainik Schools that admit girls: Sainik School, Korukonda, in the Vizianagaram district, and Sainik School, Kalikiri, in the Annamayya district. Both schools opened their doors to female students as part of a national initiative to promote gender inclusivity in military education. These residential schools provide a comprehensive curriculum that combines academic excellence with a disciplined, military-style training environment. The goal is to prepare students to become future leaders and officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
