My daughter's DOB is 17/07/2021. That makes her 4+ as of March 2026. Do I have to get her admitted to KG or can I put her up in Nursery? Is there a mandation on age-admission criteria?

As per your daughter's DOB, she'll be 4.8 years old as of March 31, 2026, which makes her eligible for KG class admission in 2026-27, and not Nursery. For Nursery admission, the maximum age limit is up to 4 years, along with a 30-day age relaxation. 

 

As per the DoE policy, the age-related admission criterion is mandatory and must be followed by all private unaided recognised schools in Delhi.
