4 YEAR CHILD WHICH CALSS ADMISION ELEGIBLE

As per the DoE in Delhi, a 4-year-old child is eligible for Nursery admission. The DoE's age criteria for entry-level classes (as of March 31 of the admission year) are:

• Pre-School/Nursery: 3 to 4 years
• Pre-Primary/KG: 4 to 5 years
• Class 1: 5 to 6 years

For Nursery admission, the child must have completed 3 years but should not exceed 4 years as of March 31. A 4-year-old would therefore fall within the KG (Pre-Primary) eligibility bracket.

Some flexibility of 30 days may be allowed for age relaxation under specific circumstances. It’s advisable to confirm with the specific school during the application process.
