Every design decision or new feature you suggest should aim to achieve one or more of the following:
Increase Conversions: Specifically, driving parents to submit more school enquiries.
Improve the User Journey: Removing friction and making the platform highly intuitive from discovery to application.
Enhance the UI: Creating a clean, modern, and visually appealing interface.
Elevate the UX: Ensuring the overall experience is logical, accessible, and delightful.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Innovation: Deep dive into platform data, user feedback, and analytics to identify pain points. Conduct competitor analysis, stay updated on consumer-tech trends, and proactively pitch new features and functionalities.
Design Execution: Develop wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps that align with project requirements and the business vision.
UI/UX Mastery: Craft beautiful, responsive user interfaces for both our core consumer-facing web/mobile apps and internal systems using tools like Figma.
Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing and analyze metrics to make data-driven design decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely in an agile/scrum environment with Product Management, stakeholders, and the Engineering team to drive features from research to implementation.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 2.5 t0 3 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer in a B2C/consumer-facing industry (experience with platforms serving parents, marketplaces, or ed-tech is a huge plus).
Tool Mastery: High proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred, but familiarity with Adobe Suite, Sketch, or InVision is fine).
Technical Empathy: Advanced problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of technical constraints for desktop and mobile platforms (Android/iOS). You don't need to code, but you must understand the practical development effort required to bring your ideas to life.
Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with usability metrics and the ability to look at data, understand user drop-offs, and design specific solutions to fix them.
