Swarnprastha Public School has been awarded as the top most Green School campus by Centre of Science and Environment in 2017 based on the various initiatives SPS has taken. Swarnprastha Public School totally believes in sustainable environment and makes every effort to do its bit towards securing the Environment for the future. As an educational institution we feel it is our responsibility to sensitize these young minds towards nature and its importance and bring behavioral changes for a long term perspective. After all Generation X only will take good care of the environment. Therefore, it’s pertinent to walk the talk. At Swarnprastha Public School, we rely on simple techniques to build a Green Campus. Given below are some of the salient features that we are using: Solar Power Ceiling heights, Lighting, Rain Water Harvesting, Segregation of Solid Waste Recycling of Waste, Textbook Reuse Burning of Waste .

AWARDS: In our quest to prepare global leaders and citizens for tomorrow by shaping the personality of the learners by moving them out from their comfort zones, SPS has signed up MoU with the international award for young people wherein participant students will get The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. This award offers three levels (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). There are four mandatory sections for Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of the award.

Each section has a specific purpose and objectives to be met as per the program’s structure:

Service: To learn and be active in giving useful services to others Skills: To focus on the development of personal interests and practical skills

Physical recreation: To encourage participation in physical recreation activities, physical fitness and improvement of performance Adventurous journey: To experience a spirit of adventure and discovery whilst undertaking a journey in a group.

OTHER AMAZING ASPECTS: Swarnprastha Public School has taken a revolutionary step by setting up India’s first of its own kind incubation lab D.I.C.E with a vision to promote entrepreneurship through innovation at an early age to facilitate them to invent their own career and to create more entrepreneurs for India. D.I.C.E not only will encourage students to study entrepreneurship, wherein, they would be forced to think out of the box but also offer a platform to develop their products/ideas/services towards their mass uses. This would inspire them to become creative, innovative and also to celebrate the spirit of invention. Subsequently, after shortlisting the best ideas, D.I.C.E. will invite, VCs, FIs, Angel investors to encourage the students to help them to not only create the road map but also with seed capital to realize their dreams.In an another path breaking step Swarnprastha Public School, Sonepat has signed a MoU with MICROSOFT to establish MICROSOFT IMAGINE ACADEMY at its campus which will enable its students ,teachers and staff to draw all benefits from digital skills , curriculum and certifications which are extremely critical in today’s technologically evolving world. The programs will help the students of in future to pursue career in IT after school.

Imagine academy offers the following learning path: Help students learn to be productive using Microsoft Office and other software tools for a wide range of jobs and other life pursuits including Robotics, internet of things etc. Computer science: Prepare students for college and career roles in software and app development. IT infrastructure: Provide the core technical skills required to build a sustainable technology career managing infrastructure for cloud, clients, devices databases, and Office 365. Vision

Swarnprastha Public School is an initiative of the Indraprastha Education and Charitable Society. The name of the school is deeply rooted in ancient Indian history.

If one turns back the pages of history, one will find that present day Sonipat is the modern derivation of Swarnprastha, a city that finds its mention in the Mahabharata. Presently, this co-educational institution admits students from Nursery to Standard XI. The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

The Campus is set amidst lush green fields where nature is at its very best. Both Boarding and Day Boarding facilities are offered to students. Along with essential co-curricular activities special emphasis is laid on a student’s health and attitudinal orientations.
