About Us

Michael High School is a coeducational English medium school started by Mr. Moses Michael Gomes and his wife Mrs. Jean Moses Gomes with a simple background. Mr. Moses Gomes started the kindergarten with 12 children in his family home in 1979. The school today stands tall in Kurla west and is the result of the efforts put in day and night by this couple. The school caters to all caste and creed. The school is recognized and it is permanently unaided by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation under the letter Michael High School has won many awards and accolades for being the best school and having the best environment setup. Also, the principal Mrs. Jean Moses Gomes has won the ‘Best teacher Award in 2011’ from the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The school is also been accredited as grade A+. The school SSC results for the academic year 2014-2015 was 100%. The overall results of standard XII were 99.78%. The rising figures in the number of admissions speak out for themselves of the growing popularity of this school.
