LIONS CLUB OF CALCUTTA GREATER, a pioneer club of Kolkata, chartered in 1971, has been rendering selfless services at CHOWHATI, as their adopted KARMBHUMI! In the past half a century they have been instrumental in transforming a non-description sleepy village into a fast developing Mofussil town. LIONS CALCUTTA GREATER VIDYA MANDIR was conceived to provide value based education. It is a co-educational English medium school affiliated to CISCE BOARD, DELHI, and is managed by LIONS CALCUTTA GREATER EDUCATION TRUST, a registered non-profit making society. A philanthropic venture driven by non-profit motive, with service as its sole mission. Away from the hustle and bustle of the mainstream city life, it provides a congenial environment for learning with a mystic aura of a natural countryside setting in complete tranquility.
