We, Shiksha Bharti School, started our journey in 14th November 2009 with ten children and three teachers for providing free education to the underprivileged children whose parents earn less than what they need for living. Today we have 300 hundred children on roll. We aimed to reach as many kids as possible and give them their Right to Education, give them their Right to a happy childhood, in order to get them out from the shackles of child labour. In our mission against child labour, today we stand strong. Despite a number of challenges, these kids, their parents and a lot of supporters out there have given us the strength to never fall apart and keep spreading the gem of education to all. We believe that all of our children can succeed and that their success spurs them on to further achievements. These underprivileged children could grow up to follow all the anti-social ways of earning a living. Therefore along with providing them education, we instil in them moral values, ethics and train them in becoming the future responsible citizen of this country. As a daily ritual the day starts with a general assembly, wherein students recite Prayers, Sanskrit Shlokas, Gayatri Mantra and Saraswati Vandana followed by short exercise that help them stay active for the rest of the day. A greater focus is also laid on the formal learning of languages, Mathematics, General and day by day environmental education, Art and craft are taught to the students. To assess the intake of education imparted to students we conduct monthly tests apart from mid semester examination in the month of October and final examination in the month of March.
