The Orthodox Church has traditionally been built on the strong foundation of missionary service. It was a vision of our founding father Late Lamented H.G. Job Mar Philoxenos, to establish a School in a place where the light of education has not reached to its fullness.Finally , the dream got materialised and thus became a centre of excellence and development from the 2000 onwards . The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) almost since two decades. The School is a part of the multi-dimensional Shantigram project. This project also focuses on providing Medical Care Centre (Swasthya Kendra) and Empowerment of Women through (Mahila Sansthan). This vison was made a reality through the constant and financial support of the Churches and hundreds of well-wishers within India and abroad. Shantigram Vidhya Niketan School is an educational institution working under Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, Diocese of Delhi. The efforts are mainly focussed to develop more than ten nearby villages in the field of education and the aim will be to expand the developmental work to a larger population. This institution has completed 20 years of glorious services to the villages nearby in the field of education and other community services. While the school began its functioning in the year 2000, there was rarely a school established within the area of 20 kms. The Shantigram Vidhya Niketan School has proved to be highly utilitarian and received much acclaim in Haryana State.
