Sanjivani International School was founded in 2005 by Veteran National Congress Leader and educationist hon'ble Shri Shankarrao Genuji Kolhe with the motto "Education for Enrichment, Enhancement and Excellence" Shri Shankarrao Genuji Kolhe is the founder, Chairman of Sanjivani Rural Education Society which was established in 1982. Sanjivani School is one of the 10 educational institutions managed under the able and dynamic leadership of Chairman (Ex. Minister and MLA of Maharashtra state) Shri. Shankarraoji Kolhe and Shri. Bipindada Shankarrao Kolhe, Executive Trustee. The society is running a College of Engineering, a Polytechnic, a College of Education, a Sainik School & many Jr. Colleges. Origin & History The exordium of the Sanjivani International School, Kharghar in the year 2005, ushered with it, a deep propensity to gravitate towards all round excellence in providing quality education, to the residents of Navi Mumbai. Sanjivani International School functions under Sanjivani Rural Education Society (SRES) established in the year 1982 by former State Minister Mr. Shankarraoji Kolhe with the view to impart technical education in rural area. Sanjivani Rural Education Society is a registered educational society with eminent and renowned members from all walks of life such as educationists, administrators, social workers, lawyers, doctors, technocrats and economists. Sanjivani International School, Kharghar is one of the 17 educational institutions managed under SRES. The School has already established itself amongst the forerunners of premier institutions in Kharghar. Whilst imparting knowledge and education, to accomplish the task of shaping its students holistically, empowering and enabling them to act as leaders within and outside the community and finally guiding them to achieve their purpose of life.
