The school first opened its doors in 1973, and it has never looked back on its way to become the prominent Vikapuri, West Delhi institution it is today, with up-to-date, ultra-modern, and sufficient facilities to run a thriving school. It was recognised by the Directorate of Education, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, and has been connected with the CBSE since 1986 under affiliation number 2730133. Science, Commerce, and Humanities are the three streams of study at the school. The Mamta Modern Education Society, which was officially registered under the appropriate provisions of law, created the school on a permanent basis. The school was registered with the Registrar of Society in Vikaspuri, Delhi, Mamta Modern Education Society has been serving the Society in the field of education under the motto "WE CREATE CONFIDENT FACES." There are currently two schools under its supervision, one in Delhi (Mamta Modern Sr. Sec. School, Vikaspuri) and one outside Delhi (Mamta Modern Sr. Sec. School, Vikaspuri) (Presidency The International School, Bhiwadi).
