This school is run by JYOTHY CHARITABLE TRUST. It was inaugurated in the year 1989 and is being run with the selfless and dedicated efforts of Dr B.N.V. Subrahmanya. He is the Managing Trustee of the trust and the founder president of JYOTHY KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA. With a committed mission and holistic vision, JKV started in 1989 by the educationist, Late Dr. B.N.V.Subrahmanya -Founder President. Mission : To provide diverse learning opportunities for students to help them realise their potential to acquire knowledge and creativity and thereby carve their career paths, bringing about the progress for themselves and for the nation through endeavour, excellence and earnestness. Vision : To be a leader in providing value based education which moulds every student into knowledgeable, responsible, progressive and contributing element of society with high integrity, commitment and human values that advocate personal success and global harmony. The school campus is equipped with spacious and well – ventilated classrooms, sufficient number of toilets and wing-wise staffrooms. It has indoor auditorium, indoor swimming pool, separate play zones for the kids of Kindergarten and playgrounds with facilities for various sports along with a well-equipped and stocked hall for indoor games. We are proud to state that our excellently stocked library with books, periodicals, journals to modulate and quench the literary thirst of our students. We have separate labs for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electronics, Mathematics and Computer with excellent facilities, in addition to the wing wise Audio-Visual Room. A sound mind in a sound body is a principle we follow and physical training and participation in games are compulsory for all the students. Yoga is taught as a part of the curriculum for all students. Bulbuls, Cubs, Bharat Scouts and Guides, as well as NCC classes are held on a regular basis with the objectives to prepare students for physical and mental discipline. We have a dedicated band troop. We have been recognized for our outstanding academic performance on the CBSE Exams with an unbroken record of 100% results along with a large number of distinctions since 1998. Our school has implemented the RTE ACT as per the Government of Karnataka mandate from the year 2012 till date.   Our institution is located in a place having a high Metro connectivity, along with the regular city bus services.
