The first Sisters of our Congregation to come to India arrived in 1933. Responding to the needs of people in different states of India. we are a Religious Missionary Community of Women Disciples in an international Congregation, Our motto: “May the Holy Triune God live in our hearts and in the hearts of all peoples”, contains in nutshell our Spirituality and Charism. And as missionaries, we are called to embrace all people across cultures and faith traditions. Arnold Janssen. In 1889, together with Helena Stollenwerk and Hendrina Stenmanns, founded the “Mission Congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit. (SSpS). The first Sisters of our Congregation to come to India arrived in 1933. Responding to the needs of people in different areas (states) of India, the Sisters engaged in varied apostolates (education, health care, social / pastoral, leprosarium, orphanages, boarding houses and hostels, vocational centers, and insertion communities). Holy Spirit School was started on 3rd of July 2002 with a strength of 39 students in LKG and UKG. The concerted efforts of the management and staff, the strength of students within seven years has reached up to 715. No doubt that our students have a lot of facilities now than in the initial years. The school is furnished with well equipped labs, Library and playground. Student life begins with assembly prayer at 8:30 am. Along with the creative ways of teaching subjects to the students, the teachers make the life of students in school an enjoyable one by a lot of co-curricular and extra- curricular activities. House competitions and individual competitions keep the life in children bubbling. Every member of the staff is focused on to the students all through the day in order to give the best one can give. Along with Staff, the cooperation given by the parents is praiseworthy. The PTA members are ever active to search ways and means to help the school in the development of the students.. God has blessed us with many people of goodwill. May many young minds enter into the portals of our school and enrich their lives.
