In April 1988, the Kirpal Sagar Academy was inaugurated with the aim to provide scholarship to the lessprivileged students. The Academy started with several elementary classes having 117 children and was extended by and by. At present , it has an enrolment of more than 700 students ranging from3 to eighteen years of ageThe Kirpal Sagar Academy is a state approved private school which is affiliated to CBSE. It is a co-educational boarding school, but has the facility for day-scholars as well. Especially, the Indian families living abroad have their children studying here, so that they can pursue the essence of being connected to their cultural roots and at the same time learn to be open-minded with a cosmopolitan view. The education is based on the higher values of life, and the children are taught humanity above outer labels, caste, colour, and creed. The children remain in their own religions but they learn to stay above the shackles of the religions and therefore we can go on to saying that the academy provides holistic education.
