Keeping these two things in mind, our Vidyalaya website has evolved in its new avatar on the theme of Agile Information Platform alias AIP
Agility is about keeping pace with and adapting to changes quickly and an attempt to provide the reach of adequate resources to improve your learning process.
Interactivity is the key to our website, where the Students, Parents, Staff and visitors to our website can post their queries over internet to the concerned stakeholders and can get response within agreed time. Hence we are reducing time to resolution of queries and disseminating information at the click of a button.
Social networking is the most talked about idea these days among students and tech savvy individuals sites such as Twitter, Face book etc. have also been incorporated into our website to cater to these new trends.
Effort has been made to make all the pages of the website dynamic, which means updating the data is made easy and managed in files; thereby achieving the goal of KVS of publishing the most recent data on the Vidyalaya Website.
New Sections such as, Parents Section, Current Students and Alumni are introduced with the idea of reaching out to Parents and old students to encourage them to post their details and queries directly through the website and in turn get our response faster. Alumni Registration module is an attempt to build the Alumni Forum of all the former students from KV Army Area and gradually evolve an Alumni community.
I encourage all the students and staff to start using our website and provide more suggestions to improve upon what has been initiated.

Established in 1985 in Army barracks, K.V Army Area was shifted to our present location in 1993.This school of repute is located amidst the pristine beauty of nature on a hill behind MH-CTC, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a spacious 15 acre land. Ever since its inception, the school has grown from strength to strength. Now our family houses 1980 students and 65 members of staff. The school has evolved over years to become a special school with infrastructure comprising 45 class rooms, two well accomplished Resource rooms, a library, and well equipped science and computer laboratories for junior and senior students. The members of staff have been active in widening the horizon of knowledge by attending workshops, orientation programs and short courses organized by kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The good results we continue to produce speak about the academic caliber of our faculty. Apart from academics, the school conducts a hive of activities to provide enough opportunity to the students to display their skills in extra curricular activities. We focus on Value Education which enables students to inculcate etiquettes and ethics. In a world of today, a world which is founded upon science and technology, it is education alone which determines the level of prosperity, well being and security of every individual. Our team works with an aim not to produce mere complacent academic achievers but to fashion intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually oriented, emotionally mature and socially committed successful young citizens. The success of our school lies in the commitment shown by a dedicated band of staff members, the responsible role played by students under the leadership and tutelage of our Principal.
