How do I calm my emotional kid?

My baby boy just started going to junior KG and has had a lot of emotional breakdowns ever since. He cries, throws things around. How do I calm him?

If a junior KG is crying or throwing things, it's not a matter to worry. Because it is observed that more than 50℅ of kids cries while going to school or even nothing has happened and children usually throw things till are of 6 to 7 years. If you feel that your child is behaving weird than other kids, try consulting a doctor. But I don't think it's needed.
