These poses improve the pliability of the spine and strengthen the core muscles.

  1. Spider pose
    1. begin by standing together with your feet apart.
    2. Extend your hands higher than your head in namaste.
    3. Bend your knees into a large squat.
    4. Take your hand between your legs and stretch them to reach your feet.
    5. Try not to drop your hips here.
    6. Hold for ten counts.
  2. Scorpion pose
    1. Begin by coming on your fours. Palms beneath your shoulder and knees beneath your hips.
    2. Raise your right foot keeping your right knee bent so that only the foot is facing the ceiling.
    3. Pulse your foot to the ceiling ten times.
    4. Bring your knee back on the bottom.
  3. Centipede pose
    1. Begin by returning to the table pose.
    2. Stretch your left leg behind you, on your toes.
    3. Slowly raise your right foot in the air, like a back kick.
    4. Stretch like a centipede.
    5. Bring your right knee about to your right elbow, foot in the air. Toes pointed.
    6. Curl like a millipede.
