Why is breastfeeding your baby better than bottle feeding

According to health experts, breastfeeding is best for a baby. Breastmilk provides all the essential nutrients a baby may require. However, not all nursing mothers can breastfeed. Women may choose to formula feed their babies due to their jobs, lifestyle, or medical conditions. Formula milk supplies all necessary ingredients, your baby can thrive on. Yet, breastfeeding is better.

1. Antibodies pass from the mother to the baby through the breastmilk. This lowers the chances of infection.
2. Breastmilk contains lactose, protein (whey and casein), and fats that the new-born can easily digest.
3. Breastfed kids can easily accept solid food.
