West Delhi: School shut after student tests Covid positive

A renowned school in West Delhi, Indraprastha World School in Paschim Vihar, has been temporarily shut down after one of its students tested Covid positive. The parents were notified of this temporary after the school found out that one of its students had tested Covid positive.

The message sent out to the parents read, “… the school discontinued offline classes immediately. All contacts of that child have been identified and individually informed. No other case, except this one, has been reported from the school. In addition to regular sanitation, the school has ensured deep medical sanitation of the entire campus. All guidelines issued by health agencies and the government are also being strictly adhered to in the school.”

The principal of Indraprastha World School, Shikha Arora mentioned, “We will be resuming soon. It is advised to keep the campus closed for about five days so that deep cleaning can be completed. We have informed all students who had come in contact with the student concerned.”
