Uttar Pradesh board has issued the schedule for class 12 th practicles , but yet to declare the timetable for both high school and intermediate boards written exams.
However , the UP government has recently made an amendment in the UP Board Examination Centre Allotment Policy for 2021 to accommodate more candidates in one room. Now , the number of centres will not furthur increase for upcoming exams as anticipated owning to Covid-19 restrictions which allowed only a limited number of students in one room to ensure the safety of students.
As per the latest order , total centres will not increase by more than 10 per cent as compared to last year. The policy issued in this regard on 25th November allowed setting up of examination centers for a minimum of 150 and maximum of 800 candidates. Now , the limit is raised to a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 1200 candidates at a particular center. Earlier , only 14 examinees were permitted to sit in one room due to Covid -19 , but from now onwards 23 examinees will be allowed to write the exam with strict requirement of 6 feet distance during exam that is scheduled to be held in an offline mode in coming months. However, it will be better than the scenario past edition of the exams where an average of 26 childrens were seated in a single room . For the 2020 exams , UP Board had set up 7,784 centres and for 2021 edition a total of 8,562 centres will be set up.
