Taking Care Of A Premature Baby

Taking care of a baby is a very significant turning point in every parent's life and actually very important for babies. However, it becomes more important in case of a premature baby. As the baby is under development and extra sensitive hence, they need extra care. Here are some things you should keep in mind for taking care of a premature baby:

1. Breast milk is enriched with antibodies and nutrients and so facilitates the baby's fitness. Kangaroo care is also important for a premature baby.

2. You don't have to bath your baby every day. Just changing all the clothes will do. You can also try a sponge bath by using a soft and wet pad of cotton.

3. Ensure that your baby gets sound sleep by making the environment as supportive as it can be.

4. Remember to rub the chest of your baby after feeding her. Additionally, put her on your shoulder and make her burp.

5. While feeding, hold your baby with his head lifted up a little.

6. Don't use any kind of cosmetics or chemicals on or around your body.

7. Limit people who visit the room of your baby. 

8. Try avoiding travel in the initial six months of your baby's life.
