Over 19,000 applications were received on the first day of DU admission

The Delhi University online admission process has started. As per the officials, about 19,000 applications were received for 70000 seats. Out of 19,000 applications, 1628 applications were approved while 920 students have made the payment, as per the University officials. The principals of various colleges said that there were no technical glitches on the first day. On Saturday, the University had announced its first cutoff.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the admission process is completely online and the authorities have advised students not to visit the university. The authorities are also facing difficulties in verifying the documents, the whole process is time-consuming.

Offline helpdesks have also been installed at the North Campus for helping the student in the admission process. Students can visit the campus if they have any queries related to the admission process. About 3.54 Lakh candidates have applied for admission to the University.
