Examination Centers Tightened

Source: Hindustan Times

The Uttar Madhyamik Shiksha Board has recently announced some big changes in its examination centre related norms. The UPMSP has made it necessary for schools to have access to main roads that are at least 10 feet wide to qualify as an examination centre for the 10th and 12th boards.

Earlier, the policy just required access to proper roads to qualify as an exam centre. But this norm has now been tightened to facilitate the transportation of the inspection board that often drops in for surprise checking. The board believes that this new norm will effectively keep the problem of question paper leaking in check.

The UPMSP has even spoken with the School Inspectors in this regard and has asked them to complete the inspection of schools and submit their reports by December 26th.
