For the past 3-4 months, the Maratha reservation issue and subsequent court case the FYJC Admission in-state are delayed frequently. They started over a few weeks ago that hit the block case. The state education department again put the dates behind class 11 Admission by a few days. At first, Thursday was set to be the day for allotments to junior colleges and now it's delayed to 28 December.

To date, normally 3 rounds have been completed including the 3 special rounds. In the first round, the SEBC quota was added but later on when the supreme court put the stay on quota the process was stopped for almost 2 months. The third round was conducted last week, where the students of SEBC quota were told to change it to open quota.

According to the latest timeline, students have to select the quota in online forms up to 5 pm on 26 December. The students have to fill in the choices in the form by 12 pm on 27 December and the list will be displayed on 28 December. Students can think up to 31 December and confirm the seats. The vacancy list would be displayed on January 1.
