The Central Board of Secondary Education clarified that the Term-1 board exams for Classes 10 and 12 will be held according to the decided schedule. Though Delhi Government on Saturday announced a one-week off from Monday, after witnessing the increasing level of air pollution in the national capital.

According to officials, over 2,100 CBSE affiliated schools in Delhi will be conducting Term-1 Board exams for the academic year 2021-22.

After a long break of more than one and a half years, schools for Classes 9-12 have reopened in September 2021. In this, schools are advised to resume offline classes for the grades, with respect to the parent's consent.

With this announcement of the closure of schools, it has become very difficult for the school administration to cope with the gap between students and educators. As per the administration, this has become an annual affair where schools are forced to shut to tackle the pollution crisis in the city.
